KATHMANDU: Police have apprehended a 32-year-old man on charge of sexting and harassing a woman from Lalitpur.

The suspect used two mobile phone numbers to send sexually explicit messages to the victim, who originally hails from Dhading and is currently residing in Lalitpur, and harassing her, police said.

The suspect is a resident of Kandaghari, Kathmandu.

It has been learned that police are preparing to press criminal charges against him as per the Electronic Transaction Act.
