KATHMANDU: A man was crushed to death by a felled tree in Thankot of Kathmandu on Saturday.

Ashok Balami (31) of Thankot, Chandragiri Municipality-6 was crushed by a felled tree nearby his house today.

Workers of a cable car project had cut down the tree.

Seriously injured Balami had breathed his last while being rushed to the Bir Hospital for treatment, police said.

Further investigation is underway.
