VIPs attend wedding ceremony of President's daughter
KATHMANDU: The wedding ceremony of the youngest daughter of President Bidya Devi Bhandari and popular Communist leader late Madan Kumar Bhandari, Nisha Kusum Bhandari, was solemnised at the Sheetal Niwas on Monday.
The President's daughter tied the knot with Abhishek Yadav, the eldest son of engineer Munilal Yadav and Nepali Congress lawmaker Kiran Yadav.
The ceremony was organised in the presence of President Bhandari.
Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Chief Justice Sushila Karki, former Prime Ministers, former Chair of the Council of Ministers, incumbent lawmakers, Rastrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire and diplomats attended the wedding ceremony of the youngest daughter of the Head of the State, according to the President's personal deputy-secretary Deepa Sharma.
Former King Gyanendra Shah was also among the guests who attended the wedding ceremony.
