KATHMANDU: A man died on the spot after he was hit by a bus in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-12 of Rupandehi district on Friday night.

The identity of the deceased who appears to be in his early 30s is yet to be ascertained.

According to police, the incident occurred when the bus (Na 4 Kha 4343) hit the pedestrian in Naya Gaun Chok at 12:30 am yesterday, killing him.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the vehicle and its driver for further investigation, said Ward Police Office, Butwal.
