RATNANAGAR: An academic fair has begun in Bharatpur of Chitwan with the objective of promoting domestic education.

Educational institutions from Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Kathmandu and other parts of the country have put up stalls showcasing their services. The three-day fair that began on Friday will end on Sunday.

The fair is expected to draw around 12,000 visitors, mostly students and guardians.

This event is also expected to promote academic activities in Chitwan, says Vice-chancellor of Agriculture University Iswari Dhakal.
