GAIGHAT: Life in Udayapur was hit hard due to the indefinite bandh enforced by Tharu Kalyankari Sabha in the district. While marketplaces at a number of places including district headquarters Gaighat remained shut for the fourth consecutive day, it has resulted in scarcity of daily essentials. All government and private educational institutions, vehicular movement and business establishments have been affected and hundreds of people heading to their destinations have been stranded in Gaighat bazaar.
