UML wins most as vote counting concludes in 7 local levels of Bhojpur
BHOJPUR: CPN-UML has won most of the local levels as counting of votes has concluded in seven rural municipalities out of nine, in Bhojpur district.
CPN-UML candidate Prem Kumar Rai and Chandrama Rai have won in Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality and Dhurba Rai and Indrawati Rai of the same party have been elected in Tyamkemaiyung Rural Municipality.
Similarly, Gajendra Bahadur Karki and Binita Dhakal of NC have been elected in Arun Rural Municipality.
Likewise, Bijaya Rai of UML and Samjhana Rai of CPN Maoist Centre have won in Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality.
Likewise, Maoist Centre's Ashok Rai and Sita Rai have been elected in Aamchok Rural Municipality.
In Pauwadungma Rural Municipality, UML's Kiran Rai and Samjhana Rai of Maoist Centre have been elected.
Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Kailash Kumar Ale and UML candidate Mamita Rai have been elected the Chairman and Vice Chairman in Bhojpur Municipality.
Among the total nine local levels in the district, counting of votes is underway in remaining two rural municipalities — Sadananda and Salpasilichho.
