KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that the terror, human casualties and damage to the physical infrastructure inflicted by the earthquake that occurred on this very day three years ago still saddened her.

The President, in a tweet today, has drawn attention of the concerned parties towards the urgent need of reconstruction and also expressed heartfelt condolences to the people who lost their valuable lives in the disaster.

Likewise, President Bhandari has also expressed her deep love to the injured and affected people.

आजकै दिन तीन वर्ष अगाडि गएको भूकम्पले उत्पन्न गराएको त्रासदी, मानवीय एवं संरचनामा पुर्‍याएको क्षतिले अझै पनि मलाई दुःखी तुल्याइरहेको छ । पुनर्निर्माणमा सम्बद्ध पक्षको ध्यानाकर्षण गराउँदै विपत्तिमा अमूल्य जीवन गुमाउनेहरुप्रति भावपूर्ण श्रद्धाञ्जली ! घाइते र पीडितमा गहिरो माया ।
