KATHMANDU: Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi on Monday held a meeting with former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi of India today.

Nidhi is currently in the Indian Capital as the special envoy of PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

It has been learnt that the duo discussed fresh political developments of Nepal and issues of mutual interests.

Meanwhile, the visiting DPM is scheduled to hold a meeting with ruling Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah today.

Earlier on Sunday, Indian National Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi had met Nidhi at the hotel the latter was residing.

Nidhi is scheduled to return home later today.
