Malaysian Minister Kulasegaran visits Pashupatinath temple

KATHMANDU: Visiting Malaysian Minister for Human Resources M Kulasegaran paid obeisance to Pashupatinath Temple this morning.

During two hours stay in the Pashupati area, he observed the main temple of Pashupatinath, 15 temples of Lord Shiva and Gorakhnath temple, among other shrines.

Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) Executive Director Ramesh Kumar Upreti and member-secretary Pradeep Dhakal accompanied Minister Kulasegaran while visiting the Pashupati area.

On the occasion, the PADT urged the minister to help promote religious tourism in Pashupati area.

Recalling his visit to the Pashupatinath about 10 years back, Minister Kulasegaran said he would call on Hindu religious people of Malaysia to visit Nepal, shared the Executive Director Upreti.

The Malaysian Minister arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday evening.
