LAHAN: A two-year-old child, who had been missing for the past three days from his home in Khoriya of Naraha-3, Siraha, was found dead on Saturday morning.

Ranjan Kumar Yadav, the son of Bharoshi Yadav, had gone missing all of a sudden from his home on Wednesday evening.

His decapitated body and severed head were found buried in a field near his home, police said.

Meanwhile, the child's uncle Suresh Yadav has been arrested on suspicion of his involvement in the heinous act.

Further investigation into the incident is underway,  said DSP Gajusiddha Bajracharya at the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya.
