NAWALPARASI: A woman was found dead in Kawasoti of Nawalparasi district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Kunta Devi Mahato (47), a local of Ramnagar Tole in Kawasoti Municipality-7.

After observing her body, police have speculated that she might have been killed in a rhino attack.

Mahato was found dead in the Namuna Madhyabarti Community Forest, which lies two km away from her house, yesterday evening, said police.

She had gone to the community forest for collecting fodder and wood, but did not return home for two days. After that, the family members had launched the search.
