PM Deuba in Taplejung

TAPLEJUNG: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba arrived in Taplejung this afternoon.

He is now scheduled to leave Taplejung district headquarters Fuling for Pathibhara temple to offer prayers. Following the prayer, the Prime Minister will address an election gathering to be held at Fuling, according to NC general committee member Gajendra Tumlyahang.

Prime Minister Deuba is accompanied by NC central member Balkrishna Khand. Along with Prime Minister Deuba and NC leader Khand, NC candidates from Taplejung Keshav Prasad Dahal (House of Representatives) and Lila Devi Bokhim (State Assembly) are also scheduled to address the election meet.

Also today, Prime Minister Deuba will speak at a function to be organised in Labrekuti of Paanchthar to mark the 133rd birth anniversary of Kirant Mahaguru Falgunanda.
