President Bhandari offers Dashain Tika to general public
KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari started offering Dashain Tika to the members of general public at the Sheetal Niwas from 2 pm today.
Earlier the Head of the State also offered Tika to Chief Justice Sushila Karki and former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
Likewise, former ministers, lawmakers and chiefs of the security bodies also received the Tika from the President, the President's Press Advisor, Madhav Sharma, told the RSS.
The President will offer the Tika until the evening hours in view of a huge number of people queuing up for the blessing.
