BHOJPUR: Property worth around Rs 1 million was destroyed when a house caught fire in Iwa-9, of Terhathum district, on Friday.

According to police, the house that caught fire belonged to a local, Ganga Prashed Upreti.

The fire sparked from Upreti's kitchen, informed the Biratnagar Area Police Office.

Police with the help of the locals had doused the fire.
