Three-wheelers banned

An executive meeting of Hetauda Sub-metropolis held today took a decision to place a ban on three-wheelers from plying the busy bazaar areas.

As per the decision, autos and e-rickshaws will not be allowed to operate in the busy areas of the sub-metropolis. The meeting also decided that Tata-sumos that were parked in the bazaar areas would be managed at Chaukitole effective from Monday.

Transportation Committee Coordinator Gokarna Parajuli of the sub-metropolis said autos and e-rickshaws were banned from Simachowk to Pipalbot, Rapti road Yeti Drug House to Buddha Chowk and Om Bhawan of Kantilokpath.

Meanwhile, sub-metropolis Mayor Hari Bahadur Mahat said autos and e-rickshaw operators have been asked to collect stickers from the sub-metropolis office. He added that the sticker was mandatory to operate autos and e-rickshaws and they could be collected from sub-metropolis office after presenting valid documents of the three-wheelers.
