LALITPUR:  Two persons were injured after the Motorcycle they were travelling on met with an accident in Jawalakhel of Lalitpur district on Friday morning.

The injured have been identified as motorcyclist Rubin Singh Maharjan (21) of Agnisal in lalitpur and pillion rider Birat Dahal (28) of Battisputali in Kathmandu.

According to police, the incident occurred when the motorcycle (Ba 64 pa 5990) lost its control and fell on the road, which left them critically injured in Jawagal at 3:00 am today.

The injured were rushed to the patan hospital, Lagankhel where they have been undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the accident is underway, said police.
