UDMF secretariat told to prepare blueprint of movement
Kathmandu, March 31
United Democratic Madhesi Front today directed its constituents to prepare for another movement to begin from mid-April.
According to Spokesperson for National Madhes Socialist Party Keshav Jha, the UDMF will wait and see till mid-April. If the major parties and the government do not address the demands of the front, then agitating forces will start their protests in the third week of April. “This time we will launch protests in all the regions and they will be decisive,” Jha said, adding that UDMF leaders also agreed not do anything that could give the impression that rivalry exists among the front’s leaders to claim credit for the movement.
Jha also said the constituents of the front will prepare for the movement in the next 10 days. Top leaders of the front also reviewed the movement and the report presented by the UDMF Secretariat on the movement.
UDMF sources said the secretariat submitted a report on forms of the protests and also suggested where the protests could be launched.
UDMF Secretariat was told to prepare a blueprint for the next movement within three to four days.
