Yadav dares govt to proclaim war against India

Kathmandu, November 26

Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal leader Upendra Yadav today challenged ruling parties to either announce war against India or to step down as the ministers were spreading rumours that India was working to separate some Tarai districts and annex them to India.

“The deputy prime ministers have alleged in their speeches that India is attempting to annex the Tarai districts. If it is so I challenge them to proclaim war against India and go to the border for the same.

If they are unable to do this they should leave their chairs,” Yadav told reporters on the premises of the Parliament when asked about the rumour.

He said that ministers are making irresponsible statements. Yadav objected to the fact that he was not allowed to speak at the House meeting today.

“I was preparing to speak at the House meeting about state suppression and violence against agitating Madhes-based parties, but, it was obstructed to prevent the voice of Madhes,” Yadav said.
