Association’s President Jagat Prasad Gauchan recently introduced the new form of full-contact karate. The players demonstrated the arts and techniques amidst a function.

“Bajra is a Nepali form of complete martial art which was introduced after incorporating the positive aspects of boxing, Thai boxing, kick-boxing, taekwondo and kyokushin karate.

It is a full contact professional martial art and fighters will get money while appearing in the ring,” informed Gauchan.

“Most of the coaches wish to introduce their own forms of martial arts and I did the same by introducing the Bajra,” Gauchan added.

Gauchan also said that the association was planning to hold the Asian Championship within two years and World Championship in four years in Nepal.

“A dojo has already been established in India and we are also planning to expand it in other countries,” he said.
