KATHMANDU: Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) registered a 40-run victory over Nepal-XI in their T20 match here at TU Stadium on Monday. Batting first, MCC scored 169-3 in 20 overs and restricted Nepal-XI for 129-8. Neil Dexter topscored for the MCC with an unbeaten 83 off 53 balls. For Nepal-XI, Pradeep Airee, Karan KC and Irsad Ahmed took a wicket apiece. In reply, Rajesh Pulami scored 26 off 22 with two fours and a six, while Gyanendra Malla scored 23. Sumit Maharjan remained unbeaten on 17 runs. Skipper Dexter was pick of the MCC bowlers with 4-27. The MCC played a total of six matches in Kathmandu and Pokhara in their two-week tour. The team returned to London on Monday.
