Nepal settle for a draw with Hong Kong in two-day match in Abu Dhabi
KATHMANDU: Nepal played a draw against Hong Kong in the two-day match at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium Nursery1 in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
Chasing a target of 313, Nepal were 155-7 at close on the second day of the practice match. Earlier, Hong Kong declared their second innings at 203-7 after Nepal declared at their overnight score of 106-1.
Tailenders Basant Regmi and Bikram Sob survived the last five overs to force a draw. Earlier, Nepal came under early pressure after losing opener Mahesh Chhetri (five) and Naresh Budhayer (five) with just 17 runs on the board.
