Govt debars gathering of more than 25 people as Covid-19 cases continue to resurge
On Monday, 1357 new infections were recorded indicating an almost double rise in the reported numbers a day ago

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a directive as per which authorities will not allow gathering of more than 25 people in public places.
A meeting of Council of Ministers took a decision to this effect on recommendation of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre on Monday.
As per the directive, following the issuance of the same, people can no longer gather for political, administrative of social activities in large numbers in public.
A circular has been issued by the home ministry to administration offices of all 77 districts to implement the decision.
The Nepal government reintroduced the restrictive measure keeping in mind the constant spike in reported number of COVID-19 cases through various parts of the country in recent days.

On Monday alone, as many as 1357 people tested positive for the disease, which indicates a sharp resurgence of the reported numbers that had gone down drastically since October.
