Issara Institute launches Golden Dreams app

Issara Institute has launched Golden Dreams (Ujjwal Sapana) app in coordination with National Network for Safe Migration.
Today, new app Golden Dream (Ujjwal Sapana: Your foreign employment companion) was launched by Issara Institute and National Network for Safe Migration in Pulchowk. This app is more importantly targeted from Nepal to Malaysia.
In this app, employers, manpower companies and service providers provide a platform for thousands of migrant workers and job seekers to access and share information about recruitment, employment, work, and life abroad in different destination countries in the language of the workers' own country.
This is an app that aims to empower foreign job seekers and migrant workers.
This app is currently available in Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Malaysia. And they have launched it today in Kathmandu, Nepal, too. It was launched by Rajib Pokhrel, joint- secretary, Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Security and Lisa Rende Taylor, executive director, Issara Institute.
According to them, in this app, one can get all the information about one's country, besides maintaining the latest updates on the rights, policies and laws related to migrant workers in their home and destination countries.
The app also features rating and review functions to allow users to share ideas and opinions about employers, manpower companies, and service providers. In addition, the app has the ability to report problems or seek immediate assistance from the Issara team 24 hours a day via free phone helpline or private message. People will also be able to make their own personal data and upload their data in the app.
