KATHMANDU: Patan High Court has issued an interlocutory order, asking Kathmandu Metropolitan City not to demolish the Bhadrakumari Ghale charity building at Anamnagar, Kathmandu.

Justice Shyamji Pradhan issued the order on Wednesday. The building housing Bhadrakumari Ghale Sewa Sadan must not be damaged, the order read. Both sides in the dispute have been invited for discussion on July 24.

Similarly, the Court ordered KMC to furnish written response why the charity building was being demolished. KMC, which had begun bulldozing the building, stopped after the issuance of the interlocutory order.
