KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 22

Nepal claimed a spectacular 11-0 victory against the Maldives in today's SAFF Women's Championship match, marking their first win in the tournament on Monday.

The match, held at the Dhasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor, saw an outstanding performance from Rekha Poudel, who netted five goals.

Priti Rai added to the scoreline with a hat-trick, while Sabita Rana Magar, Anita KC, and Amisa Karki each scored one goal to complete the rout.

This dominant win places Nepal at the top of 'Group B' with four points, following a goalless draw in their previous match on Friday. Bhutan, also with four points, trails in second place.

India and Bangladesh are set to clash at 5:30 PM on October 23 as the SAFF Championship continues.
