KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 8

Four people lost their lives and six others were injured when two vehicles collided head-on at Satrakilo along the Narayangadh-Mugling road section early this morning.

According to police, the accident occurred around 3:00 am when a Hiace van (Ba. Pra. 06-001 Ja 0298) traveling from Muglin to Narayangadh and a bus (Ba. Pra. 03-001 Kha 2812) heading in the opposite direction collided. The deceased include three men and one woman, all passengers in the Hiace.

One of the victims has been identified as 42-year-old Raj Bahadur Gurung from Arughat Rural Municipality. The identities of the other three deceased are yet to be confirmed.

The injured are currently receiving treatment at two hospitals in Bharatpur.
