Gold prices in the domestic market declined by Rs 500 per tola on Tuesday, continuing a downward trend after reaching Rs 170,700 per tola on Falgun 22. The price had already dropped by Rs 100 per tola on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 169,900 per tola, down from Rs 170,400 per tola on Monday.

Similarly, silver prices also fell by Rs 5 per tola, bringing it to Rs 1,970 per tola. Silver was traded at the same price on Monday.
