Gold price hits new record at Rs 185,000 per tola on Friday

The price of gold surged to an all-time high of Rs 185,000 per tola in the domestic market on Friday, marking a significant rise of Rs 3,900 in a single day.
This sharp increase follows Thursday's spike of Rs 5,700, making it the second consecutive day of substantial gains for the precious metal. The gold market has shown a bullish trend after a brief decline since its previous peak of Rs 180,300 per tola on Chaitra 21.
On Thursday, fine gold was being traded at Rs 181,100 per tola, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
Likewise, silver prices also saw a modest rise of Rs 5 per tola, reaching Rs 1,905 from the previous rate of Rs 1,900 per tola.
