KATHMANDU, JULY 27

The Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum, organized by King's College and its research wing, the Centre for Research and Development (CERAD), has concluded today with deliberation on several issues and facets associated with social entrepreneurship.

The two-day international conference under the theme 'Towards a Sustainable Entrepreneurship Ecosystem' provided a platform for over 500 entrepreneurs, thought leaders, researchers, policymakers, educators, and students from Nepal and abroad.

With a theme 'Towards Sustainable Entrepreneurship Ecosystem', the event successfully facilitated meaningful conversations on various aspects of entrepreneurship, connecting academic insights with real-world experience to enable learning from both perspectives.

'Over two days, the Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum 2025 became a vibrant space for sharing fresh ideas on sustainable businesses, technological innovation, and inclusive growth,' says Sagun Baba Shrestha, the Conference Coordinator, 'More than just discussions, the forum built real connections, sparked collaborations across borders, and inspired everyone to work together toward a stronger and more resilient entrepreneurial future for Nepal.'

Several panel discussions featured dialogues and deep reflection in areas including economic freedom, inclusive education, climate-smart practices, mentorship, policy reform, and public–private partnerships.

While the interactions dwelt on several facets of social entrepreneurship in relation to innovation, economy, community, inclusivity, and development, the event concluded with reflections on how to integrate profit, purpose, and environmental responsibility into entrepreneurship.

According to King's College, this gathering marked a special milestone; from the 2016 International Conference on Social Entrepreneurship to today's Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum.'
