Following their successful tour of the United Kingdom last month, Nepathya, Nepal's premier folk-rock band, enthralled a sold-out crowd at Poolen Hall in Copenhagen, Denmark on Saturday.

In a press statement issued today, Nepalaya, the band's management company, sais that Nepathya performed a mix of classic hits and new songs, captivating audiences who had traveled from as far as Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and Belgium.

After screening the music video for 'Sa Karnali,' lead singer Amrit Gurung opened the concert with 'Koshi ko Pani.' The audience erupted in excitement, waving their cell phones with flashing lights, creating a euphoric atmosphere.

True to his engaging style, Amrit interacted with the audience throughout the concert, blending musical performances with heartfelt conversations. 'Today is Kushe Aunsi, the day to honor one's father,' he said. 'If you haven't been able to call home for any reason, do so today. Even if there have been misunderstandings, talk and reconcile.'

The audience, many of whom had traveled from afar, were deeply moved by Amrit's words. He also underscored the importance of Nepalis remaining united while abroad and encouraged them to preserve their language and cultural identity, according to the statement.

While performing 'Yo Zindagani,' Amrit urged the audience to contribute in any way they could to support children in Nepal who have been unable to attend school, highlighting their civic responsibility. Despite conveying this social message, Nepathya continued to perform their timeless hits seamlessly, keeping the energy of the audience alive.

Amidst the crowd's excitement, the band concluded the performance with 'Rato ra Chandrasurya.'

During the concert, Amrit was accompanied by Dhruv Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dineshraj Regmi on keyboards.

Following the Copenhagen concert, the 14-member entourage will head to Malta to perform at the Malta Fair and Convention Centre Hall on August 27.

For most European concerts, arrangements have been made for audiences to book tickets directly online. Seats can be reserved via Nepathya's official website: www.nepathya.com.np, reads the statement.
