KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 6

The monsoon's low-pressure trough is currently positioned farther south than its average location.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, this afternoon's weather will be generally cloudy across the country.

Moderate rainfall is expected in some parts of the hilly regions, particularly in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in a few areas of the Terai regions in the remaining provinces.

The Division has forecast generally cloudy conditions over the hilly regions, including Koshi Province, tonight, while other areas are likely to experience partly cloudy skies.

Moderate rainfall is also likely in some hilly areas and at a few locations in the Terai regions.
