KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 11

The Nepali Army has announced that prohibitory orders will remain in force throughout the day tomorrow in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur, followed by a night-time curfew.

According to a statement issued by Army Headquarters, Jangi Adda, the prohibitory order will be enforced from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday (Bhadra 27). Likewise, a curfew order will come into effect from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM and remain in place throughout the night.

However, the Army has clarified in its statement that movement for essential purposes will be permitted between 6:00–11:00 AM and 5:00–7:00 PM.
