KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 12
Streets across the Kathmandu Valley appeared deserted following prohibitory orders issued by the Nepali Army after Gen Z protests turned violent, aimed at maintaining law and order.
During the prohibitory period, only essential vehicles and holders of special passes were allowed to travel. According to government data, 51 people have lost their lives nationwide, and hundreds were injured, with many still receiving treatment.
