KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 11
The District Administration Office, Kaski, has imposed a curfew in Pokhara from 7:00 PM this evening until 5:00 AM tomorrow.
In a notice issued today, the administration stated that the order applies to all 33 wards of Pokhara Metropolitan City.
Chief District Officer Rudra Devi Sharma said the curfew was enforced on the recommendation of the District Security Committee, citing recent protests, unrest, vandalism, and concerns over law and order.
During the curfew period, all gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, and public movements are strictly prohibited. The Office warned that violators will face stern action from security personnel.
