Gold price drops by Rs 4,200 per tola after record high
Fine gold traded at Rs 235,000 per tola on Friday; silver continues upward trend in domestic market.

The price of gold declined by Rs 4,200 per tola on Friday, a day after hitting a record high in the domestic market. On Thursday, the yellow metal had reached an all-time high of Rs 239,200 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 235,000 per tola today.
Meanwhile, silver continued its upward trajectory, rising by Rs 60 per tola on Friday. Over the past two days, silver prices have surged by Rs 130 per tola, the silver had increased by Rs 70 per tola on Thursday alone.
As of today, silver is being traded at Rs 3,085 per tola, up from Rs 3,025 per tola yesterday.
