Korean expedition team scales Dhaulagiri

One member and three high altitude climbers of 2005 Korea Dhaulagiri Peak Expedition Team scaled Mt Dhaulagiri on last Thursday.
Im Bok Choi, 20, from Korea and high altitude climbers Dowa Sherpa, 45, from Makalu, Sankhuwasava, Serap Jongbu Sherpa, 35 from Khumjung 3, Solukhumbu, and Pema Tshiring Sherpa, 35, from Makalu 9, Sankhuwasava, scaled the peak. They scaled the 8167 metre high Mt Dhaulagiri at 5 pm on May 4, said the Tourism Ministry.
The ministry had permitted the eight-member team from March 27 to climb the peak from the North East Ridge within 75 days under the leadership of Jae Hong Ahn from Korea.
