BRNO: Championship leader Johann Zarco of France won the Moto2 race at the Czech Republic Grand Prix in Brno on Sunday for his fourth victory of the season. The 25-year-old Kalex rider stormed through the 20 laps in 41min 02.500sec after starting from pole, beating defending champion Tito Rabat of Spain by 1.421sec and another Spaniard Alex Rins by 1.785sec. Zarco stretched his overall lead to 79 points, with 224 against 145 for second-placed Rabat,who has a one-point advantage over third-placed Rins. Zarco lost the lead right after the start but was quick to regain it within the first lap. Rabat soon settled for second behind Zarco while Rins beat compatriot Alex Marquez in a battle for the third spot.
