LALITPUR: Olympiad Sajin Maharjan won the title of Blitz Chess Tournament here on Saturday. Maharjan accumulated six points from seven matches. FIDE Master Manish Hamal finished second in tie breaker after he was tied on 5.5 points with veteran Rajendra Prasad Shrestha. The top three received Rs 7,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively. Rajendra Kumar Parajuli, Bijay Dangol, Kshitiz Bhandari, Lekh Bahadur Thapa Magar, Bilamlal Shrestha and Himal Lama finished from fourth to 10th positions. A total of 31 players participated in the one-day event.
