Fugitive held after 24 years in Panchthar

PANCHTHAR: A convicted person, who had been absconding after the District Court, Panchthar, slapped a year and four days jail sentence and Rs 933 in fine, was arrested 24 years after the court’s decision. Police Inspector Govinda Jha said that Thumbe Tumbapo of then Chokmagu-4 was arrested and presented before the court recently. The Court had handed down the verdict in for his involvement in beating Amardeep Tumrok of Chokmagu-5.
