Lazy optimist’s view of exams

By Lazy optimist’s view of exams

Every year we sit for exams. Some go well, while some are terrible.

There is an exam is just around the bend and I’m not prepared it.

My marks are terrible and I don’t know what to do. I try to relax but I can’t.

My family has great expectations of me but they don’t know what unexpected result awaits them.

Each day when I leave school, my brain wants nothing but entertainment. I can’t concentrate though I want to. When I see my friends studying like they want to be the next Isaac Newton, I feel I’m the only one who knows nothing.

I look at the calendar and realise my exam is just around the corner. I also realise that tension, disappointment, books, teachers, questions and answers are on the cards.

But I hope everything goes well. And that I ace my ‘eggjams’ too!!!

Hope it will be as delicious as egg and jam. — Shristi Shakya, St Mary’s School
