Kathmandu After a huge success of smartphones like Aqua Star 2, Aqua Xtreme 2 and Aqua Sense 5.0, EOL, a sister concern of Chaudhary Group, authorised distributor of Intex mobile is all set to introduce its latest offerings in the Nepali market. The company is expected to launch three new smartphones — Aqua Super, Aqua Trend and Aqua Ace by the end of January. Intex Mobile offers a range of altogether around two dozen models of feature phones and smartphones ranging from Rs 1,200 to Rs 22,000 in the domestic market. “We have always believed in providing class, style and technology all-packed at an affordable price to our valued customers,” said Vinay Joshi, National Sales Manager at CG EOL. “We are excited about the upcoming models as we have garnered good response from the customers within merely two years of time,” he added. “All the handsets are BIA certified — the handsets go through lab test and in each handset the certified sticker is found, which not only assures the quality but safety,” said Joshi. “The company is still working on the price of these upcoming handsets,” he informed, adding that it is sure that the price range of all these models will be in-between Rs 15,000 to Rs 21,000. Aqua Super comes with 5-inch touch-screen display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core processor. It is packed with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, which can be expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card. As for the cameras, the handset is equipped with 8MP primary camera and a 2MP front camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 2150 mAh non-removable battery. This dual-SIM handset supports both 3G and 4G network. Aqua Trend boasts 5-inch touch-screen display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, which can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card. It has 13MP primary camera and 5MP front camera. This dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. It supports both 3G and 4G network. Aqua Ace comes with 5-inch touch-screen display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It is packed with 3GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via micro SD card. It consists of 13MP of primary camera and 5MP of front camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 2300mAh non-removable battery. This dual-SIM smartphone accepts two Micro-SIM and supports both 3G and 4G network.
