Rautahat cops, agitating front cadres clash

Rautahat, December 23 A clash erupted between cadres of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front and security personnel in Malangwa of Sarlahi today evening. Two agitating cadres are said to have received rubber bullet injuries on their legs during the clash. The victims have been identified as Ramananda Yadav, 30, of Dumariya VDC and Abbas Mansuri, 22, of Malangawa municipality-12 of the district. The victims are receiving treatment at Malangawa Hospital, whereas Abhishek Yadav, 21, of Mahinathpur sustained injuries in police baton-charge and has been taken to Sitamadi of India for treatment. According to sources, the clash erupted after students demonstrated against the arrest of five students when police were searching for those who had vandalised government offices on Monday evening.
