The Duet and the recently introduced Dash scooters are built on a completely new platform, developed by the in-house research and development team at Hero MotoCorp, as per a media release. Within just a few months of their introduction in India and other international markets, the scooters have gained tremendous popularity among customers. The sturdy and durable Duet VX is now available across all Hero dealership in the country, at an attractive price of Rs 171,500. The Hero Duet delivers an impressive performance with 111-cc air-cooled, four-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, producing a maximum power output of 8.31 BHP at 8000 RPM and maximum torque of 8.3 Nm at 6500 RPM. The Duet offers an impressive mileage of 63.8 km per litre to match the performance. The sturdy and durable, metal body Duet, comes loaded with a host of convenience and utility features such as external fuel filling, under-seat mobile charging port, remote seat opening and fuel-lid opening, boot light, service due indicator, side stand indicator, twin parking lamps, boot-light in the glove box, among others. Integrated braking system coupled with telescopic front suspension offers riding comfort and improved stability.
