KATHMANDU : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday  visited Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur to encourage Nepali cricket players.

Nearly 17,000 audience have already reached the ground while many others are seen thronging there. The audience are chanting 'Nepal Nepal' with the national flag on their hands. Meanwhile, the Nepali team have witnessed a slight change today. Sagar Pun is in team in place of Raju Rijal and Binod Bhandari is given the responsibility of wicket keeper. READ ALSO

Today's Nepali team comprises Paras Khadka, Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawkar, Shakti Gauchan, Basanta Regmi, Sompal Kami, Binod Bhandari, Rajesh Pulami Magar, Sagar Pun, Naresh Budhaer and Sandeep Lamichhane. Earlier Nepal had made a superb start while defeating Namibia by five wickets in the first match of third round under the Championship on last Saturday. If Nepal win today, their dream to participate in the World Cup Cricket Selection to be held in Bangladesh in 2018 will be alive.
