KATHMANDU: The ninth Republic Day was observed amid a much fare at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel of the Capital on Saturday. President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Speaker Onsari Gharti among others attended the programme. Personnel from Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force took part in the parade and also presented cultural shows on the occasion. A Nepal Army helicopter also showered flowers from above Tundikhel.
