KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress discussed no-confidence motion, which it and the CPN Maoist Centre jointly filed against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Parliament, and formation of new government at its Central Working Committee today. After the meeting, Nepali Congress CWC member Arjun Narsingha KC said various issues including the Nepali Congress-Maoist agreement to form a new government, implementation of Constitution and negotiation with all parties including CPN-UML on post-earthquake reconstruction were discussed in the meeting. KC informed that the CWC held a theoretical discussion on taking part in the yet-to-be formed government. The top leadership would prepare the list of leaders to send to the Cabinet after the CWC prepares criteria, he informed. As per an agreement between Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the latter would lead the government for some months and hand over the premiership to Deuba. Another CWC member Mahesh Acharya informed that the CWC observed that there was no constitutional complication to form a new government despite the CPN-UML leadership's contrasting arguments. 'Efforts are being made to raise issues related to the Constitution. But Congress hasn't seen any complication [to form the government],' he said. 'Looking for loopholes if anybody says the constitutional  provisions lack clarity and I shall remain as acting prime minister for 20 more months, ' he added, 'Then that's not the positive interpretation of Constitution.' 'We should move forward with caution such that the national politics does not become bitter,' Acharya said, 'Parliamentary practice to change the government should be taken easily.' Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Gururaj Ghimire, Krishna Sitaula, Gagan Thapa, NP Saud, Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Bal Krishna Khand, Minendra Rijal, Pradeep Paudel, Ramesh Lekhak, Bhisma Raj Angdembe and Pradeep Giri were among the CWC members who aired their views in the meeting till this afternoon, according to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti.
