'Cabinet to get full shape in next five days'

KATHMANDU: Chief political adviser to the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chandra Prakash Khanal, said the Cabinet would get its full shape within next five days. Speaking at an interaction with journalists in Kathmandu today, Khanal said, 'Our spirit was to expand the Cabinet as soon as possible. But, there was some delay.' 'Now, the Nepali Congress has said it would finalise names of ministers from its side,' he assured, 'It will take place soon.' READ ALSO:

Meanwhile, the Maoist leader said most of the issues raised by Madhesi parties were national concerns. 'The responsibilities to meet demands of the Morcha (United Democratic Madhesi Front) also lie on the UML as well,' he said, referring to the main opposition CPN-UML, 'It should not avoid it.' Just on Saturday, UML Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam had announced that his party would not let the House endorse the Constitution amendment proposal as the ruling parties would plan it for addressing concerns of the disgruntled parties. Khanal claimed the government would move ahead by setting immediate, short-term and long-term plans and priorities.
