1 injured in KTWR water buffalo attack

INARUWA: A woman was critically injured after being attacked by a wild water buffalo in Sunsari district on Thursday. The injured has been identified as Radha Devi Khatwe (40) of Madhuban VDC-1 in the district. Khatwe was attacked by the buffalo while she was collecting fodder in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police, Prabin Dhital. Khatwe, who was initially rushed to the Inaruwa-based Sunsari District Hospital, was further referred to a health facility in Biratnagar, Morang for the treatment, according to police.
