CHITWAN: Vehicular movement obstructed for 34 hours along Narayangadh-Muglin road section following landslides has resumed from Saturday evening. The section of the road was blocked a second time on Friday itself. The first landslide near Kalikhola at 8:00 am  was followed by another at 1:00 pm, resulting in complete closure for the vehicular movement along the road section. After clearing the mudslide debris, vehicles started to ply on the road from 6:30 pm Saturday, said Shiva Khanal, an engineer at Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project. It took 34 hours for officials to clear the landslide debris with  four bulldozers and an excavator. Following the disruption, a large number of vehicles were stranded on the road. Long-route passenger buses were sent back to their respective origins.
